Halftone Generator is built browser-first: most of what happens to your artwork happens on your own device, not on our servers. This page explains what we do collect, why, and the choices you have.

1. Your artwork

Images you upload are processed locally in your browser using canvas rendering — they are not uploaded to our servers to generate the halftone preview or export. Nothing about your artwork leaves your device as part of the core editing and export flow.

2. Account and sign-in

Signing in today stores your sign-in state and the email you provide locally in your browser (localStorage) rather than on a central server. Saved projects, drafts, and export history work the same way — they're stored on the device and browser you're using, scoped to that email. If we move to a server-backed account system in the future, we'll update this policy before that data leaves your browser.

3. Contact form

If you use the contact form, the name, email, and message you submit are sent to Splitforms, a third-party form-processing service, so we can receive and reply to your message. We don't use that information for anything else.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use local storage for things the app needs to function — sign-in state, saved projects, drafts, theme, and export history — and, only if you opt in, optional analytics/marketing cookies. See the Cookie Policy for the full breakdown, or to change your choice.

5. Other services we use

We load fonts from Google Fonts, which may log requests (including IP address) per Google's own policies. Paid plan billing is handled on the shared DTF Toolbox pricing page at dtftoolbox.com/pricing — any payment information you provide there is handled by that page, not by Halftone Generator directly.

6. Your choices

Because most of your data lives in your own browser, you're largely in control of it: clearing your browser's site storage removes your saved projects, drafts, sign-in state, and export history from that browser. To ask us about or request deletion of anything we hold on our side (like a contact form submission), email us using the address below.

7. Children's privacy

Halftone Generator isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your region).

8. Changes to this policy

We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever this policy changes, especially if we introduce server-side storage that changes how account or project data is handled.

9. Contact

Questions about this policy or your data? Email support@dtftoolbox.com, or use the contact form.
